G&S Sporting Goods – Social Media & Marketing Intern
G&S Sporting Goods is seeking a creative, reliable intern to help run social media and email marketing for the revival of a heritage New York boxing brand.
G&S has roots on the Lower East Side dating back to 1937 and is now being rebuilt as a scrappy, digital‑first brand focused on boxing equipment, apparel, and culture. We are looking for someone who can help bring consistency, taste, and momentum to our direct‑to‑consumer presence. You’ll have access to a large archive of vintage brand content, along with ongoing new imagery from recent shoots, to help build a more elevated and consistent content cadence.
What you’ll do
Help manage and schedule Instagram content
Draft captions, organize content, and maintain a weekly posting cadence
Assist with email marketing campaigns and basic customer outreach
Help update homepage / product imagery and marketing content on Shopify
Track simple weekly metrics and help identify what content is working
Support occasional product launches, restocks, and brand collaborations
What we’re looking for
Strong visual taste and copy instincts
Interest in branding, fashion, sports, culture, or DTC marketing
Organized, responsive, and able to work independently
Comfortable with Instagram, Canva / Adobe, and basic digital tools
Shopify and email platform experience are a plus, but not required
