THE PURPOSE: The Videographer & Editor is responsible for producing high-quality, end-to-end video content that supports True Religion’s marketing, social, and e-commerce initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a key role in independently bringing creative concepts to life - from ideation through final delivery - while maintaining a strong visual and storytelling standard. This position contributes to True Religion’s continued growth by delivering engaging, platform-optimized content that drives brand awareness and audience engagement.

THE ROLE (what you are accountable for):

Own the full video production lifecycle, including concepting, planning, shooting, and editing content independently under the direction of the Creative Lead

Execute high-quality cinematography, including camera operation, lighting setup, and composition

Produce content across multiple channels, including website, social media, and growth marketing initiatives

Conduct on-camera interviews and manage audio recording, including proper microphone setup and sound capture

Translate creative briefs into compelling visual stories, iterating based on stakeholder feedback

Plan and organize shoots efficiently, ensuring alignment with creative vision and timelines

Edit video content using industry-standard tools, including basic color grading and sound design

Manage media and assets using DIT workflows and best practices for file organization and storage

Stay current on video trends and apply best practices to create engaging, high-performing content

Adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment, taking initiative and contributing creative ideas

YOU ARE: You bring a strong combination of hands‑on production expertise and creative storytelling ability. You are a self‑sufficient creator who can confidently manage projects from concept through final edit without the need for a large crew. You have a sharp eye for visual detail, a strong understanding of modern video trends, and a passion for producing engaging content. You are proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment, with a willingness to pitch ideas and embrace ambiguity.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

3‑5+ years of experience in Videography / Video Editing

Proven ability to independently manage end‑to‑end video production

Strong understanding of cinematography, including lighting, composition, and camera movement

Technical knowledge of camera systems and settings (RAW/LOG formats, ISO, shutter speed/angle, frame rates, resolution)

Experience conducting interviews and managing audio equipment (microphones, sound recording)

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro, including basic color grading and sound design

Understanding of DIT workflows and media management best practices

Strong storytelling skills with attention to detail and quality

Portfolio demonstrating social‑first video content across professional or personal work

Strong communication skills and ability to manage priorities in a deadline‑driven environment

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

Experience producing content for fashion, retail, or lifestyle brands

Familiarity with short‑form video platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts)

Experience working in small, agile teams or startup environments

Basic knowledge of motion graphics or After Effects

ADDITIONAL ROLE INFORMATION:

Compensation:

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $95,000 - $110,000. This is a full‑time, exempt position. This range represents the low and high ends of the expected base salary range for this role based on the applicable location. True Religion reasonably expects to pay within this range in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and internal equity.

Work Model:

This role is based in El Segundo, CA and follows a hybrid work model, with an expectation of in‑office presence 3 days per week to support collaboration and business needs. Flexibility required for additional in‑office days and occasional weekend shoots.
