Job Description Join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Product Management Specialist III, where you'll contribute to growth and innovation across our industry-leading portfolio. You'll develop product strategy, guide new product introductions, and ensure commercial success while making a meaningful impact on science and healthcare. Working collaboratively with R&D, Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams, you'll translate customer needs into effective solutions that help make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
How will you make an impact: You will enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer by helping our clients and sponsors to understand how our service offering enables them to deliver life-changing therapies to their patients more quickly.
What will you do: Key responsibilities include:
Support implementation of portfolio strategies by developing and maintaining structured launch plans and commercialization timelines.
Drive cross-functional coordination across sales, marketing, operations, and other partners to ensure launch readiness milestones are achieved.
Develop and maintain go-to-market tools, templates, and documentation to promote consistency and scalability across ASD.
Contribute to positioning, messaging, and sales enablement materials in partnership with senior product management and enablement teams.
Support post-launch performance tracking by monitoring adoption indicators and gathering structured feedback from internal stakeholders.
Synthesize customer and market inputs to inform commercialization planning and enhance how services are presented to the market.
Requirements
Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of experience in product management, marketing or related commercial experience in life sciences/scientific products industry.
Preferred Fields of Study: Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, Business or related field.
Additional certifications in Product Management or Marketing beneficial.
Demonstrated success managing complex product portfolios and supporting business growth.
Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities for forecasting and business planning.
Excellent project management skills with ability to guide cross-functional initiatives.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities.
Deep understanding of customer workflows and ability to translate needs into product requirements.
Demonstrated experience developing and executing successful product launches and marketing campaigns.
Experience with product lifecycle management and stage-gate development processes.
Proficiency with business applications including Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
Customer-centric mindset with consultative approach to solution development.
Travel required for customer/site visits and industry events up to 30%.
Additional language skills beneficial.
Domain expertise in relevant scientific/technical areas preferred.
