Job Overview The Case Aide works in collaboration with the AZ Department of Child Safety to support families reunifying with their children. This is not a typical 9‑5 position; it requires adaptability, compassion, and understanding as families are worked with.
Job Responsibilities
Arranging, transporting, and supervising visitations between children placed in out‑of‑home care.
Foster positive family relations.
Provide support in developing helpful parenting skills.
Provide education for parents on how to access emergency assistance, support, and community resources.
Assist families with goal setting, planning, and other activities related to home management tasks.
Document all services appropriately.
Perform other duties related to the position.
This position requires afternoon, evening, and weekend work. Adaptability in scheduling, driving throughout the county, and working within the communities of the families we support is required.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED
Requirements
Must be 21 years or older
Valid Arizona Driver's Licence with an acceptable 39‑month driving record
Reliable transportation, including proof of insurance and Arizona registration
Candidates are required to submit a negative drug test
Obtain an Arizona DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
Complete a DCS Central Registry Check Report of Child Abuse and Neglect
Complete Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and First Aid training
