R3340Blue Cross of Idaho is seeking a Corporate Legal Specialist to provide proactive and detail‐oriented support for legal services, legal operations, and corporate governance. This role partners with attorneys, paralegals, legal operations, and the business to triage legal requests, maintain accurate records, and keep matter workflows moving (including matter intake and e‐billing). You’ll join a collegial, supportive team that values professionalism, clear communication, and helping one another deliver excellent internal client service. The successful candidate is comfortable working in legal systems and databases, coordinating matter intake and records, and engaging professionally with outside counsel (including e-billing and invoice coordination). This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, responsiveness, and the ability to handle sensitive information with care. In practice, success means legal and outside counsel requests are triaged efficiently; matter records, invoices, and documentation remain accurate and audit‐ready; deadlines are tracked reliably; and workflows and system practices continue to improve in ways that meaningfully support the legal team.**Professional Attributes**This role requires a high level of integrity and discretion, including the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately and consistently.**Reporting relationship:** This position reports to the VP, Legal Services. Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage multiple priorities in a high-discretion environment. Strong preference for experience with legal systems, including matter intake/management, e-billing, entity management, and SharePoint. You’ll partner closely with the Legal Operations Manager and the Legal Services team to support matter workflows, e‐billing and invoice coordination, and internal reporting needs. You will also support the Corporate Secretary team with routine corporate governance processes, documentation, entity records database support, and coordination of routine corporate filings.**Responsibilities include:*** **Legal Services Support (Attorneys/Paralegals):** Coordinate and track matter‐related administrative needs; maintain well‐organized matter files and records; support scheduling and light calendaring; assist with travel and expense logistics; communicate professionally with internal business partners and outside counsel.* **Legal Operations Support:** Support and continuously improve matter intake, document management, and reporting workflows; assist with legal technology initiatives (including system implementations); support e‐billing processes and invoice coordination, including resolving invoice questions with outside counsel.* **Corporate Governance Support (routine and select):** Support the Corporate Secretary team with routine filings coordination; maintain entity and governance records; track governance calendars; and organize governance documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay range is $66,353 to $92,894. The position is eligible for an annual incentive bonus (variable depending on company and employee performance).The pay range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, travel requirements, internal equity, business or organizational needs, and alignment with market data. At Blue Cross of Idaho, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top range for the position.
