We are searching for a passionate New Business Development Manager in the greater Syracuse area. The Manager leads and mentors sales representatives in delivering voluntary benefits that help employees navigate life's financial uncertainties with confidence.
Successful Managers prioritize:
Coaching, mentoring, and inspiring sales agents
Identifying, interviewing, and recruiting new sales agents
Providing hands‑on field training and collaborative work experiences
Facilitating sales meetings and training sessions
Driving B2B employee benefits sales and managing client accounts
Establishing strong connections with business owners, HR professionals, and key decision-makers
Creating a dynamic, competitive, and team‑oriented environment
Cultivating and sustaining relationships with brokers
Beneficial Qualifications and/or Skills for Managers:
Experience in B2B sales
Proven ability to recruit, develop, and lead sales teams
Background in insurance sales with an active Life & Accident/Health Insurance License (or willingness to obtain)
Self‑motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently while inspiring teams
Compensation:
As a New Business Development Manager, you have the potential to earn competitive commissions based on sales results, including renewal income, bonuses, and world‑class trips.
