Insight Global is looking for a Cloud Architect to join one of our global manufacturing and supplier clients. This person will a specialized R&D team that is pioneering high-accuracy micro-location technologies that rely on advanced algorithms to achieve centimeter-level precision. By blending sensor data, RF signals, and cutting-edge signal processing, they are transforming how people and machines navigate their environments. This person will join a team to tackle complex real-world problems with creativity, collaboration, and a spirit of continuous innovation. The cloud team in this organization is creating a scalable, multi-tenant cloud platform focused on secure data ingestion, real-time data streaming, and analytics of location data. Additional responsibilities include: Partner with local stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear technical requirements. Define, design, and refine a scalable cloud architecture that supports multiple customers and long term growth. Coordinate with offshore development teams to create and execute a roadmap toward the target cloud architecture. Quality Assurance & Standards Collaborate with offshore development teams to ensure deliverables meet quality standards, security requirements, and organizational guidelines. Work with other Cloud Project Leads to align on best practices, tooling, architecture patterns, and code standards to ensure consistency across teams. Hands On Development Maintain, enhance, and extend cloud applications and infrastructure originally developed by offshore teams. Independently develop proof of concept solutions and tailored cloud assets as needed to support evolving business requirements. Clearly communicate requirements, feedback, and priorities to offshore teams. Provide regular status updates to local stakeholders and escalates risks or issues when necessary. 50/hr to 65/hr: Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages while on contract for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
