Course Conversion Specialist

(Remote) Responsibilities

Provide courseware conversion support, as required. Convert existing online training learning asset files from one authoring tool (Composica) to another (Lectora) to sustain the Warfighting Acquisition University online training portfolio. Identify and report deficiencies to the team lead in converted online training learning assets for future maintenance efforts, as required. Conduct data gathering and reporting to monitor and communicate progress, timeliness, and efficacy of the conversion process. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required. Experience may be used in lieu of education requirements. Must have 3+ years of experience with: Conducting courseware conversions Composica Lectora Must pass background check with a favorable NAC. Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Section 508 accessibility standards with regard to online training. Experience conducting quality assurance using customer-established requirements. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to meet minimum security clearance requirements. Ability to follow prescribed processes to complete learning asset conversion and document processes and outcomes for each learning asset. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of key stakeholders for timely responses and deliverables across all projects. Strong understanding of adult learning theory. Excellent planning, coordination, and organizational skills. Results-driven with initiative and responsiveness. Ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and manage details while staying focused on priorities. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required. Ability to travel up to 10%.
