Graphic Designer & Webmaster
Horseshoe Bay Resort is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Graphic Designer & Webmaster to support the resort’s marketing and brand initiatives. This role is responsible for the design, development, and delivery of engaging print and digital content, including website management and video production. The ideal candidate combines strong visual design expertise with technical proficiency and collaborative communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Director of Marketing, internal teams, and resort departments to develop print and digital marketing materials, including newsletters, activity guides, brochures, posters, signage, websites, and presentations.
Design visually compelling layouts utilizing effective color palettes, typography, imagery, and composition for both print and digital platforms.
Manage and enhance website content and functionality, ensuring an engaging, user-friendly, and mobile-responsive experience.
Participate in the planning, execution, and deployment of website updates and enhancements.
Oversee video production projects, including storyboarding, filming coordination, post-production editing, compositing, and compression.
Coordinate with approved external videographers as needed for marketing projects.
Organize and maintain digital and video assets using established version control and file-naming best practices.
Ensure consistency with brand standards across all print and digital platforms.
Capture photography and video using digital SLR and video cameras.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
Minimum of two (2) years of professional graphic design and production experience.
Preferred: Two (2) years of video production and editing experience.
Strong understanding of core design principles, including typography, color theory, layout, and web interaction.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat).
Proven experience as a WordPress web designer, including theme customization; strong knowledge of responsive design, mobile optimization, HTML, and CSS.
Experience integrating video and motion graphics into websites and presentations.
Video Production & Multimedia Content Creation: Practical experience planning and producing video content, including storyboarding, filming, editing, and post-production, with the ability to integrate video and motion graphics into websites and marketing campaigns.
Website Design & Content Management (WordPress): Hands‑on experience designing, managing, and updating WordPress websites, including theme customization, responsive design, mobile optimization, and basic HTML/CSS editing.
Graphic Design & Brand Marketing Experience: At least two years of professional experience creating high‑quality print and digital marketing materials while maintaining brand consistency across all platforms.
Technical & Equipment Skills
Proficient in operating digital SLR and video cameras.
Ability to operate—or learn to operate—production and post‑production equipment, including copiers, printers, electronic paper cutters, folders, booklet makers, and laminating equipment.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe products.

Clear verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Strong time‑management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

Visual requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
