Job Summary UK HealthCare Information Technology Services is seeking a Service Desk Analyst to provide tier‑1 support for all ITS incidents and requests. The role handles end‑user application support, customer resolution, deployment, and installation of end‑user applications. The successful candidate will collaborate with physicians, customers, department leadership, affiliated organizations, and all IT staff members. This highly matrixed organization requires excellent interpersonal, persuasion, and influencing skills, and the ability to participate in large multi‑disciplinary teams with a varied workload. HDI Support Center Analyst certifications are required within one year of hire date.

Key Responsibilities

Provide tier‑1 support for all IT incidents and requests.

Offer end‑user application support and resolve customer issues.

Deploy or install end‑user applications.

Collaborate with physicians, staff, and IT teams across departments.

Maintain confidentiality and prioritize work effectively in a fact‑paced, time‑sensitive environment.

Represent the University positively at meetings and training sessions.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

Microsoft Windows experience.

macOS experience.

Troubleshooting experience on various computing devices including workstations, laptops, mobile devices, printers, telephone systems, etc.

Requirements

Education:

AA

Experience:

1 year related experience.

Certifications:

HDI Support Center Analyst – required within one year of hire.

Shift:

40 hours; service desk operates 24/7 with shift changes based on departmental needs.

Physical Requirements:

Sedentary position with occasional travel, meeting attendance on and off campus, and ability to work both independently and in a team.

Supervisory Responsibility:

None.
