Brief Description

Job Duties
Lead and coordinate daily activities of production workers and equipment operators.
Allocate labor resources and manage work schedules to meet production goals.
Enforce all company safety standards and perform regular inspections of equipment and tools.
Train new and existing employees on proper procedures and safety protocols.
Identify and resolve production issues, including workflow delays or equipment concerns.
Communicate production status updates and maintenance needs to management.
Assist production teams as needed, including performing manual labor such as cleaning, shoveling, loading/unloading, and material handling.
Participate in occasional special projects or tasks as assigned.
Support ongoing safety, quality, and process-improvement initiatives.
Work Environment
Works in both indoor and outdoor production settings.
Exposure to loud, dusty, dirty environments and varying weather conditions (heat, cold, humidity).
Frequent exposure to moving equipment, fumes, dust, and industrial elements.
Requires use of PPE including hard hat, safety glasses, high‑visibility clothing, safety footwear, and gloves.
Overtime may be required depending on production needs.
Physical Requirements
Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and physical activity throughout the shift.
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs frequently and 50–100 lbs on occasion.
May involve kneeling, climbing, repetitive motions, and working in tight or elevated spaces.
Requires strong vision, hearing, and communication skills to work safely in an active production environment.
Experience & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
4–6 years of related industry experience.
1–2 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role.
Knowledge of industry practices, production workflows, and safety procedures.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience in machine operation, quality control, and production scheduling.
