Bitdefender is hiring a

Cloud and MSP Sales Engineer

to support the

DACH region

(Germany, Austria, Switzerland) as part of the

EMEA & SEA Sales Engineering organization . This is a

partner- and customer-facing technical role , focused on enabling

Managed Service Providers (MSPs)

and cloud-first partners. You will own the technical aspects of MSP-led and cloud-centric opportunities, acting as a trusted security advisor and helping partners build, sell, and scale managed security services on the Bitdefender platform. What You’ll Do

Own the technical lifecycle of

cloud and MSP-focused sales opportunities

across DACH, from discovery through validation and rollout Deliver

partner-led product demos, technical deep dives, and Proofs of Concept , tailored to cloud-managed and multi-tenant MSP environments Advise MSPs on designing and delivering

cloud-based and managed security services

using Bitdefender technologies Support solution design for

multi-tenant, SaaS, and high-scale deployments Lead technical discussions with MSPs around security operations, service differentiation, automation, and operational efficiency Support RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires, including those driven by regional regulatory and compliance requirements Deliver

partner technical enablement, onboarding, and training sessions Build strong technical relationships with

MSPs, distributors, and strategic partners

across the DACH ecosystem Collaborate closely with

Sales, Product, and R&D

to represent partner needs and customer feedback Represent Bitdefender at

partner events, enablement sessions, and industry forums

across the region What You Bring

3+ years’ experience

in security pre-sales / sales engineering, ideally supporting MSPs or channel partners Strong hands-on knowledge of: Endpoint Security,

EDR/XDR , Managed Detection & Response ( MDR ) concepts, Email Security and

Threat Intelligence Experience securing and supporting

Windows, Linux, and macOS

environments at scale Strong understanding of

cloud-managed, SaaS, and multi-tenant architectures Familiarity with MSP tools and ecosystems ( RMM, PSA, monitoring platforms ) Working knowledge of

cloud platforms

(AWS, Azure, GCP) Awareness of

risk management and regulatory frameworks

relevant to DACH (e.g. GDPR, ISO 27001, NIS2, DORA) Experience with

virtualization technologies

(VMware, Microsoft, Nutanix) Familiarity with

containers and orchestration

(Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus Fluent German and English (spoken and written) Partner-centric mindset, strong communication skills, and technical curiosity Willingness to travel across the DACH region (~50%) Why Bitdefender?
