About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Community Impact to join its founding executive team. This mission-driven leader will be instrumental in driving meaningful engagement and adoption of the organization's data, technology, and AI solutions across cradle-to-career and place-based partnerships. The role is akin to a Chief Marketing Officer or Chief Experience Officer in a commercial context but is fundamentally focused on community trust, engagement, and adoption. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and executing a national community engagement and adoption strategy, building and leading a high-impact team, and delivering on a strategic program roadmap. Key responsibilities include field engagement, national program design, and the cultivation of strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in community engagement, movement building, and program design, with a proven track record of driving adoption at scale. They should be entrepreneurial, relational, and adept at shaping brand identity and digital presence. A builder mindset, adaptability, and a deep commitment to advancing economic mobility and equity are essential.

The Head of Community Impact at the company will work in a fully remote capacity, with approximately 25% travel, and will be expected to operate in a fast-paced, early-stage environment. The role requires a leader with a builder mindset, who is adaptable, and who thrives in ambiguity. The candidate should be a strategic, mission-driven leader with 12-15+ years of experience, and a strong focus on impact orientation and measurement. Professional qualities include leadership in community engagement and adoption, movement building, program design, brand and narrative leadership, team management, and a collaborative approach to cross-functional leadership. The role demands a leader with a strong command of engagement and adoption metrics, and a commitment to using data to inform decisions and improve outcomes. The Head of Community Impact will be a highly relational leader, capable of building trust and credibility with various stakeholders, and will be dedicated to the organization's mission of advancing economic mobility and equity.
