Job Description Job Description Carpenter (Residential Construction) Company: Woodstock Building Associates Location: Woodstock, CT (projects throughout northeastern CT and nearby MA) Job Type: Full-time, W-2 Overview Woodstock Building Associates is a custom home design-build firm seeking a Carpenter to support residential construction projects. This role involves working with a team to complete high-quality building and finishing work across a variety of custom homes. Responsibilities Assist with residential construction projects under the direction of a lead carpenter or supervisor Perform tasks including demolition, light framing, finish carpentry, and painting Follow project plans, specifications, and local building codes Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule Travel to job sites as needed Qualifications 2 to 4 years of residential carpentry or construction experience Knowledge of job site safety practices Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to meet company safety requirements Compensation & Benefits Salary: $40,000 to $55,000 annually, based on experience Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off Work Environment Team-based residential construction setting Mix of indoor and outdoor work depending on project phase Equal Opportunity Employer Woodstock Building Associates is an equal opportunity employer.
