Salesforce Solutions Engineer – Contract
DataStaff, Inc. is seeking a Salesforce Solutions Engineer for a long‑term contract opportunity in Raleigh, NC. This role is hybrid.
Job Description Design and deliver end‑to‑end solutions on Salesforce Government Cloud for mission‑critical public‑sector programs.
Responsibilities
Lead integration designs, blueprinting and configuration strategies.
Develop Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and system integrations following established engineering practices and platform governance.
Lead technical discovery sessions with product owners and program stakeholders to define requirements, evaluate solution options, and recommend best‑fit approaches.
Review Salesforce release notes to identify breaking changes, deprecations, new settings, and feature impacts; assess how platform updates affect existing systems and integrations.
Collaborate with vendors, product owners, administrators, QA teams, and business stakeholders to plan and execute required updates and deliverables.
Apply AI‑driven approaches to enhance Salesforce solutions, including identifying practical use cases, incorporating intelligent automation, and ensuring responsible and compliant use of emerging technologies.
Enforce Salesforce architectural standards, data models, integration patterns, and development guardrails to ensure long‑term maintainability, scalability, and compliance across programs.
Implement and validate security controls.
Required Skills
5 years of hands‑on Salesforce experience across configuration, customization, and solution design.
5 years of hands‑on development experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, and integration development in enterprise environments.
3 years of experience supporting public‑sector, regulated, or compliance‑heavy programs (or equivalent experience in complex multi‑team environments).
2 years of experience leading technical discovery, design sessions, or development teams in a senior or lead capacity.
