Position Overview This is a skilled position requiring the employee to perform a variety of tasks pertaining to the purchasing department and other office support functions.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
Will procure all types of materials required for company operations
Will place bids and ensure competitive pricing on all materials
Will make arrangements for deliveries to the requestor
Will track and maintain the procurement process of all materials
Other duties will be assigned as needed within the purchasing department.
Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Education/Experience
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
Knowledge/Skill Preferences
Basic Viewpoint system knowledge.
Previous procurement experience.
Basic knowledge of truck terminology and equipment.
