Business Development Representative - Energy and Resources
The Business Development Representative will provide key outbound prospecting, sales support and lead development for IFS, Energy and Resources. The candidate must be knowledgeable in Enterprise Asset Management and ERP Applications as they relate to targeted prospects and customer needs.
Responsibilities
High level of communication, via outbound calling, email, and social media to engage prospects in order to further qualify as a valid sales opportunity.
Develop cold accounts into warm and targeted accounts through various efforts providing value while aggressively targeting accounts within specific industries that IFS, Energy and Resources has identified.
Maintain relationship with assigned group of target accounts and work with Marketing and Product Management to align activities with overall campaigns.
Maintain accurate customer and pipeline records within Salesforce.com and other tools to keep Sales & Marketing informed and up-to-date with activities.
Understand the functional competitive advantages of the IFS, Energy and Resources solution set and customize messaging to gain traction into accounts.
Qualifications
2-4 years of proven software inside sales or software sales experience and successfully meeting lead generation targets.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Self‑starter and ability to work with minimal supervision. Excellent time‑management abilities, written and verbal communication skills, team‑player attitude and initiative to succeed.
Skills to effectively incorporate Microsoft Office/Exchange and Salesforce.com into your daily workflow processes.
Oil & gas industry experience is a plus.
Some regional travel may be required to support customer/industry conferences and events.

Salary Range: $50,000 to $60,000 annually + commission.
