A global private markets investment platform is seeking a VP-level investment professional to support direct private equity co-investment activity within an evergreen investment vehicle designed for wealth and institutional investors.
This role sits close to deal evaluation and portfolio construction and offers exposure to sponsor-led opportunities across a diversified private equity strategy.
Responsibilities
Evaluate direct private equity co-investment opportunities alongside senior investment professionals Prepare investment memoranda and underwriting materials Monitor portfolio exposures, performance, and liquidity considerations Conduct company and sector diligence across sponsor-led transactions Partner with internal stakeholders across product, distribution, compliance, and investor coverage teams Support investor communications and fundraising materials related to the strategy Track market activity, sponsor pipelines, and competitive positioning across private markets Qualifications
Approximately 5 to 8+ years of relevant experience in private equity, investment banking (M&A or Sponsors), transaction advisory, or private markets investing platforms Strong financial modeling and investment memo writing experience Experience evaluating operating businesses across sectors Comfort working in a collaborative environment with both investment and investor-facing teams Strong communication skills and attention to detail Interest in portfolio construction within a scaled private markets platform Additional Details
Hybrid schedule (4 days in office) New York Competitive base, bonus, and long-term incentive structure This position offers exposure to sponsor-led transactions, portfolio strategy, and investor engagement within a growing evergreen private markets platform.
