Position Junior Product Designer – Headwear
What You’ll Do
Support the design and development of licensed headwear products (caps, knits, novelty headwear, etc.)
Execute designs aligned with league, team, and brand guidelines
Create graphics, logos, wordmarks, and embellishment concepts
Research trends across sports, streetwear, and pop culture
Translate insights into color, graphics, and silhouette direction
Develop mood boards, concept decks, and seasonal ideas
Partner with Product Development, Sourcing, and Merchandising teams
Ensure designs align with cost, margin, and production capabilities
Support sample reviews, revisions, and approvals
Assist with custom programs for key retail partners and accounts
Support execution of special projects and quick‑turn opportunities
Help maintain consistency across licensed product lines
Assist in building presentation decks and product line reviews
Maintain organization of design files, assets, and documentation
Meet deadlines aligned with merchandising calendars
What You’ll Bring Required
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, or related field
1–3 years of experience in design (internship or professional)
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
Strong understanding of typography, layout, and color
Preferred
Experience or interest in licensed sports products or headwear
Knowledge of embellishment techniques (embroidery, patches, screen print, etc.)
Exposure to retail, streetwear, or fan‑driven product categories
Experience working with team logos, word marks, or branding systems
Portfolio Important: A portfolio (URL required) must be submitted to be considered.
