Job Summary The Director, On‑Premise (Non‑Alc) is responsible for driving brand engagement, managing key trade partnerships, and leading program execution within the on‑premise/HORECA channel.
This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands‑on execution, with a strong focus on building relationships, delivering impactful activations, and supporting trade advocacy and education initiatives. You’ll partner closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to bring brand strategies to life at both national and local levels.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Activation
Build and maintain relationships with key on‑premise accounts
Lead guest marketing execution and ensure alignment with brand strategy
Oversee and execute activations and on‑premise programs
Trade Advocacy, Education & Training
Develop and deliver trade education programs, including training modules and brand academies
Act as a subject matter expert supporting field coaching and execution
Drive engagement initiatives with trade partners
Partnerships & Influencer Engagement
Establish localized brand partnerships to enhance market presence
Collaborate with influencers and trade professionals to build brand advocacy
Support execution of influencer and earned media campaigns
Program Execution & Collaboration
Partner cross‑functionally with internal teams to align on strategy and execution
Support trade shows and industry events
Ensure programs are executed in line with brand standards and objectives
Reporting & Operations
Track and report on program performance and KPIs
Manage budgets, expenses, and CRM updates
Maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
5+ years of sales and/or marketing experience (beverage or CPG preferred)
Experience managing direct reports
Strong relationship‑building and networking skills
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the market (up to ~40%)
Excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking abilities
Proven ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders
Strong business acumen and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Understanding of social media and its role in brand activation
Willingness to work non‑traditional hours, including evenings and weekends
Work Environment This role is field‑based and requires regular travel within the assigned market, along with occasional out‑of‑market travel. You’ll be actively engaged in on‑premise environments, events, and activations, which may involve evenings and weekends.
The role also includes physical aspects such as event setup and transportation of materials, along with a mix of in‑person and remote collaboration with internal teams.
Compensation
Salary range: $100,000 to $120,000 plus potential 10% discretionary bonus opportunity
Communication Allowance: $150 monthly
