Overview
Genesis10 is currently seeking a Product Business Analyst for a hybrid position (3 days/week onsite required) with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC or Irving, TX. This is a 6 month contract opportunity. We are seeking an experienced and confident Product Business Analyst to join a Banking Operations team. In this role, you will participate in low to moderately complex initiatives, identify opportunities for process improvements, and collaborate closely with development teams to translate business needs into actionable technical requirements within an Agile environment. Responsibilities
Lead and facilitate discovery sessions and stakeholder meetings to gather and analyze business requirements Collaborate closely with development teams to translate business needs into actionable technical requirements Support Agile practices and contribute effectively within Scrum teams Document business processes, requirements, and user stories with clarity and precision Drive conversations with stakeholders and subject matter experts to uncover needs and define solutions Utilize tools like Jira and AI-enhanced features to manage and create user stories efficiently Help establish foundational Agile practices as the team prepares to onboard Product Owners and Scrum Masters Review and analyze business execution assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives Present recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex situations Requirements
2 years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent Strong background in product and business analysis, with experience performing core BA tasks Proven ability to lead meetings, facilitate collaboration, and drive conversations with confidence Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with Scrum team operations Proficiency with Jira and comfort using AI tools to enhance productivity Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technology stakeholders Self-driven, proactive mindset; someone who takes initiative and ownership Desired skills
Strong personality and leadership presence to guide early-stage requirement sessions Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with limited structure Experience in financial services or banking operations is a plus Pay range
