Position Overview We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Recruiter / Staffing Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and placing qualified nursing professionals while coordinating staffing schedules to meet client needs. This is a fast-paced position that requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
Source, recruit, and screen candidates including RNs, LPNs, and MAs
Conduct interviews and guide candidates through the hiring and onboarding process
Verify credentials, licenses, and compliance documentation
Match candidates with appropriate assignments based on client needs and availability
Coordinate and manage staff schedules, shift coverage, and last-minute requests
Maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and clients
Track recruiting activity and maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
Ensure compliance with healthcare staffing regulations and company policies
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
3 years of staffing/recruiting in a agency setting (healthcare required)
MUST have experience working for a healthcare recruiting/staffing agency
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Basic knowledge of nursing roles and healthcare terminology is a plus
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and recruiting software/ATS
Preferred Skills
Experience working in a staffing agency or healthcare setting
Ability to build rapport quickly with candidates and clients
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Flexibility to handle after-hours or on-call scheduling needs as required
