LawnStarter: Senior Product Advertising Supervisor, Professional Expertise
You will design and oversee all product‑advertising communications targeted at Professionals, ensuring they feel supported, empowered, and successful on the platform. This includes in‑product messages, email sequences, community posts, help content, incentive programs, and advocacy initiatives.
Responsibilities
Design and maintain in‑product messaging for Professionals, ensuring clear, timely communication throughout the journey.
Develop community and upskilling content (Bettermode, Professional Academy) and set tone and cadence.
Write and manage help content, FAQs, and how‑to guides to reduce support load and empower Professionals.
Build and moderate the Professional advocacy system—interviews, surveys, and feedback loops—and share insights with product, ops, and help.
Define and communicate gamification and incentive programs, ensuring Professionals perceive and engage with them.
Qualifications
Experience in supply‑side or creator‑side community or product communication roles, listening closely to professionals.
Strong copywriting for professional audiences—clear, direct, free of jargon.
Track record of measuring outcomes by behavioral change, not just opens or clicks.
Ability to influence cross‑functional teams without direct authority.
Expertise in designing communication processes from the ground up.
Proficiency with AI/content‑generation tools for scaling copy, data synthesis, or workflow automation.
Understanding that target professionals are small‑enterprise owners, not gig workers.
What This Role Is Not
Pure CRM execution—product, community, help, etc. are collectively handled.
Client‑facing marketing; focus is on service professionals.
Product administration—affected work is in communication strategy, not product design.
Direct employee‑management; role is senior IC with influence, not managerial.
Benefits
Base salary: $120k‑$150k.
Health, dental, vision coverage.
Remote, US‑based; async collaboration, focus on output, not hours.
Flexible paid time off.
