Position Overview Team Teal is seeking to hire a Ticket Operations Specialist that embraces and exemplifies our principles in all aspects of their work. Key responsibilities include managing and executing event builds, order management and customer service for the Sharks, Barracuda, SAP Center and Tech CU Arena Events. The primary responsibility of this role is to support and act on behalf of the Manager, Ticket Operations in overseeing all box office functions. This includes exercising independent judgment in areas such as cash control procedures, event management execution, end-of-event financial reconciliation, and coordination with third-party vendors. The position is responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, compliance with internal controls, and effective vendor relationships, while contributing to process improvements and strategic decision-making within Ticket Operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Build and manage events on the Ticketmaster Host and Archtics systems as assigned.
Demonstrate ability to independently manage and oversee the fulfillment and execution offseason ticket, partial plan, group and individual ticket requests for all Sharks, Barracuda and SAP Center and Tech CU Arena events.
Oversee and execute the creation, configuration, and ongoing management of event builds for Sharks, Barracuda, SAP Center, and Tech CU Arena, including all associated suite, parking, and upsell inventory.
Ensure accuracy and consistency by proactively implementing updates throughout the event lifecycle, while exercising independent judgment to optimize event setup, inventory strategy, and revenue opportunities. Develop and maintain relationships with all areas of Ticket Sales and Service department to contribute to sales initiatives and foster collaboration.
Provide Archtics training for Ticket Sales and Service department.
Produce customer data, financial and ticket sales reports on a timely basis.
In collaboration with the Manager, manage financial reconciliation requirements including reporting, sales review and verification of financial activity.
Contribute to all product launches for all San Jose Sharks and Barracuda ticket packages.
Provide unsurpassed customer service to all guests visiting the ticket office.
Other duties as deemed necessary or as directed.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry specific work experience.
Minimum 2 years computerized box office or related experience
Proficient in Ticketmaster systems with an emphasis on Ticketmaster Archtics, Account Manager, Host and TM One or other ticketing systems.
Proficient in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and an emphasis on Excel.
Strong math aptitude and ability to attend to detail.
Exhibit a positive attitude, coachability and exceptional work ethic.
Ability to work independently without supervision, be self-directed and demonstrate initiative.
Strong people skills with the ability to create an inclusive and positive working environment.
Exhibit good judgement and decision-making skills.
Flexibility to work weekends, nights and holidays as required by schedule of events.
Exhibit good judgment and decision-making skills, as well as ability to manage your own time and implement your own schedule.
Ability to balance multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
Demonstrate sound organizational, coordinating and personal interface skills.

Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand and utilize a computer for extended periods of time
Communicate via phone and email with a variety of individuals
Ability to bend at the waist, reach overhead and lift up to 15 lbs with or without accommodation
Physically navigate stairs and catwalks at SSE facilities during normal work hours and events with or without accommodation
Ability to work occasional extended hours including nights, weekends, holidays (all with advance notice)
May be required to travel to other company locations
May be required to attend conference, events, and training sessions within Bay Area or in- or out-of-state locations.
