Associate Director – Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting (CPA)
We’re hiring a senior‑level technical accounting and SEC reporting leader to serve as the
go‑to authority for complex accounting matters
and public reporting. This role partners directly with executive leadership, influences accounting policy, and owns key judgments for a growing, sophisticated organization.
This is a

with real autonomy, significant exposure to senior leadership, and a clear path for continued growth.
What You’ll Do
Act as the
technical accounting subject matter expert
across US GAAP (IFRS exposure a plus)
Evaluate and conclude on
complex, non‑routine transactions , including partnerships, investments, and evolving revenue streams
Author formal accounting memoranda and
defend conclusions with external auditors (KPMG)
Lead SEC reporting research, disclosures, and compliance for
10‑Q and 10‑K filings
Draft and manage responses to
SEC comment letters
Translate technical accounting conclusions into clear business implications for non‑finance leaders
Set, maintain, and update company accounting policies
Provide implementation guidance across accounting, FP&A, and systems teams
Support consolidation and close processes in higher‑risk or judgmental areas
What We’re Looking For
Active CPA required
5-7+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong foundation in
public accounting
(Big 4 experience strongly preferred)
Hands‑on experience with
SEC filings and external auditor management
Comfortable operating in judgmental areas and taking ownership of conclusions
Confident communicator who can engage constructively with auditors and senior leadership
Financial services experience is a plus, not a requirement
