We're seeking a passionate Product Designer, who has a focused interest in understanding design and a passion for performance apparel product.
Responsibilities
This Product Designer 2 role is a hybrid of technical and creative design within the Global Design Running organization.
The designer will focus on Running Women's Apparel Product Design & Promo, supporting the design team with day-to-day tasks and board building, including samples and swatches.
Supporting the apparel design team with day-to-day projects within the running space with physical and digital assets.
Ability to update line art and designs based on feedback, fittings, design reviews.
Ability to iterate on design options for design leads utilizing Illustrator and Vizcom.
Ability to update keynote presentations with accurate representation of designs.
Assist in design research of inspiration images for details, construction, mood imagery.
Assist in updating family files and connecting with color partners to ensure accuracy.
Assist in physical boards with accurate designs, materials and trims.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in design, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
3-5 years of experience designing and developing performance apparel.
Strong Photoshop, Illustrator skills.
Must be able to create accurate 2D technical drawings.
Strong sketching, illustration, and rendering skills.
Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
AI and Vizcom experience a plus.
Experience in technical apparel design is a plus.
Experienced with presentation programs: Keynote, PowerPoint, Acrobat, Miro.
Positive personality and energy.
Contribute and align to shared team culture and behaviors.
Strong organizational skills with clear communication.
