Senior Media Planner

Overview It’s Plein Air Agency is a leading marketing consultancy focusing on the restaurant and hospitality industry providing solutions from Creative, Production, Media Strategy & Buying, Digital Content to Website and Mobile App development.

Responsibilities

Develop media plans including strategic and tactical elements

Negotiate and execute digital, print and outdoor buys

Prepare and communicate buy specs for the digital buying team

Manage all ATBs, billing and department paperwork on authorized media buys

Provide trade area insights including competitive and demographic data

Review and authorize invoices

Collaborate with digital media buying and analytics teams on monitoring media performance and reporting results to the clients

Present media plans and reporting to clients

Actively participate in weekly client status meetings

Continually communicate with Media Director about project status, problems, or related changes

Support the development and implementation of departmental policies, procedures, practices and standards

Work on special media or agency projects as applicable

Achieve/maintain visibility and credibility within the agency and client base and with media vendors

Establish and maintain strong relationships between all cross-functional teams

Seek developmental opportunities and actively participate in agency and professional training initiatives and seminar training

Mentor and train media planners

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of Media Planning experience

Eagerness to improve and advance agency processes

Familiarity with the Google suite of tools (gmail, sheets, word, slides, etc.)

Experience with Vivixx, Media Radar, Basis, Meta, Google, Placer.ai and other industry tools

Proficient in local media planning across TV, radio, outdoor, social and digital platforms

Solid understanding of media planning and buying for broadcast, outdoor, print and digital channels
