
Business Analyst Senior

Overview
The Business Analyst Senior provides strategic leadership in business analysis, solution design, and enterprise‑level initiatives. Operating with full autonomy, this role defines analysis strategy, leads complex cross‑functional programs, and ensures alignment of technology solutions with organizational goals. The Business Analyst Senior serves as an expert consultant, mentor, and thought leader, driving standards, elevating analysis maturity, and influencing business and IT decision‑making.
Essential Functions
Lead enterprise‑level, capital, or highly complex projects, defining analysis strategy, scope, delivery approach, and stakeholder engagement
Partner with executive and senior leadership to shape business cases, define strategic requirements, and align technology investments with organizational priorities
Facilitate complex workshops, decision sessions, and enterprise design discussions involving cross‑functional groups
Create and oversee end‑to‑end requirements frameworks, including data models, process architecture, business capabilities, and solution roadmaps
Evaluate enterprise impacts across systems, departments, workflows, and integrations; recommend scalable and sustainable solutions
Partner with architects and technical leaders to influence system design, integration strategy, and platform enhancements
Guide defect triage, risk mitigation, and cross‑team problem solving at the highest level of complexity
Provide subject matter expertise for critical IT systems and products and high‑visibility issues
Execute test scripts, capture results, and validate outputs against expected outcomes.
Lead UAT strategy, release planning, and enterprise readiness for major programs
Serve as a mentor to BA I and BA II team members; provide coaching on analysis techniques, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management
Drive improvements in analysis standards, templates, methodologies, and best practices
Contribute to strategic planning, roadmap development, and long‑term technology evolution
Build strong partnerships across business units, serving as a trusted advisor on process optimization and technology alignment
About You Specialized Knowledge/Skills:
Expert‑level understanding of SDLC, enterprise systems, integrations, and data flows
Advanced analytical, facilitation, and solution evaluation skills
Ability to influence senior leadership and guide strategic decisions
Strong leadership skills with proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams
Experience delivering enterprise‑wide or capital initiatives
Mastery of requirements engineering, process modeling, workflow design, and impact analysis
Ability to mentor and develop BA team members
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate across business and technical audiences
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Informatics, Business, Information Technology, or Computer Science or a related field; equivalent experience or technical training may be considered. (Master’s preferred but not required)
7 years of hands-on experience in business analysis, system support, including complex or enterprise level project work.
Relevant certifications (preferred but not required): business analysis, product management, project management, or process improvement (e.g., BA certifications, CAPM, PMP, Lean Six Sigma)
License/Certification:
Current automobile insurance and valid driver’s license.
Training/Equipment:
Ongoing professional development in strategic analysis, facilitation, and leadership
Participation in roadmap discussions and industry learning opportunities
We Offer Compensation may vary within the salary range provided based on several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s location, experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications and department equity.
Gentiva provides associates with a comprehensive benefits and total rewards package, of which base pay is just one piece.
Salary Range – $80,000 to $100,000
