The Opportunity We’re seeking a design‑driven interior designer who thrives in both the creative and technical sides of the process. This role is immersive and hands‑on, offering exposure to every phase of design from concept through installation.
You will contribute to highly customized interiors that go beyond decoration, diving into interior architecture, space planning, millwork detailing, and custom furniture design.
What You’ll Do
Contribute to and lead portions of projects from concept through installation
Develop space plans and design concepts that balance function, flow, and aesthetics
Produce and coordinate technical drawings, including plans, elevations, and detailed millwork
Design and document custom furniture, cabinetry, and built‑in elements
Source materials, finishes, furnishings, and lighting with a strong point of view
Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure thoughtful execution
Support project management, timelines, and procurement processes
Participate in client presentations and ongoing communication
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in high‑end residential, hospitality, or multi‑family interior design
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite (AI a plus)
Experience with construction documentation and detailing
A refined design sensibility with a strong understanding of materiality, scale, and proportion
Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
Self‑directed and confident working with a small, collaborative team
