Role Overview The Specialty Field Marketing Coordinator drives referral growth and brand awareness by building strong, trust‑based relationships with referring dentists and specialists within an assigned territory. This is a relationship‑driven, field‑based role with clear performance goals tied to referral volume, engagement, and event execution. This is an entry‑level, field‑based role ideal for someone early in their career who enjoys relationship building, face‑to‑face marketing, and learning how healthcare marketing drives business growth. The coordinator serves as the “face of the brand” in the field, connecting practices, providers, and marketing strategy.
Key Responsibilities Referral Relationship Development
Visit assigned dental offices following a structured weekly route (15–20 offices/week).
Build and maintain strong relationships with dentists, office managers, and care teams.
Present the practice’s services, providers, and differentiators.
Identify, research, and onboard new referring offices.
Gather and communicate referral experience feedback and growth opportunities.
Territory Management & Reporting
Plan and optimize weekly territory routes to maximize impact.
Track all visits, notes, follow-ups, and referral activity.
Monitor referral trends and address at‑risk or declining referral sources.
Provide regular reports on field activity, insights, wins, and challenges.
Identify and support marketing opportunities such as Lunch & Learns, CE events, open houses, and community events.
Lead event development, execution, and provider participation.
Execute events on‑site and lead post‑event follow‑up.
Track event engagement and correlate activity to referral growth.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Partner with operations, marketing, and practice leadership to improve referral experience.
Share field insights to inform marketing strategy and provider outreach.
Number of offices visited and relationships maintained
New referring offices opened
Event attendance, engagement, and referral conversion
CRM data completeness and follow‑up execution
Ideal Candidate Profile
2 years of experience in customer service, marketing, sales, hospitality, or a people‑facing role
Strong relationship builder with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Comfortable in a field‑based, performance‑driven role
Organized, self‑motivated, and able to manage territory independently
Experience in healthcare, dental, medical sales, or field marketing preferred
Professional presence and strong brand representation skills
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally on a weekly basis
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Healthcare, or a related field preferred but not required
