We are a prominent advocate for supporting and improving the lives of over 2,000 people with disabilities in our area.
Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Community Habilitation Mozaic is seeking Community Habilitation Direct Support Professionals. Community Habilitation (Com Hab) staff support people in becoming more actively engaged in their communities by offering opportunities to build connections, develop independence, and enhance daily living skills.
Community Habilitation offers a variety of skill‑building activities, such as cooking classes to promote meal preparation skills, as well as assistance with attending medical appointments, managing finances, and improving cleaning and organizational abilities.
In addition to these supports, Community Habilitation also plans recreational outings to encourage social engagement and community participation. These outings may include trips to the zoo, museums, amusement parks, theater performances, movies, and other enjoyable activities.
Pay Rate Pay Rate: $16.75-$18.50 per hour + based on experience!
Location Seneca Falls, New York
Schedule Monday - Friday, occasional weekends between hours 8am-5pm, 35 Hours per Week. Hours are flexible for mornings and evenings.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Minimally, one year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities or an associate degree in human services or a related field is required.
A Valid Driver's License is required.
