Labcorp is seeking a Digital Imaging Assistant to join our team in Madison, WI.

Job Responsibilities

Perform study‑related Client, Study Director, or Pathologist requested gross macroscopic photography.

Perform study‑related Client, Study Director, or Pathologist requested photomicrography.

Perform study‑related Client, Study Director, or Pathologist requested digital slide scanning.

Perform digital photography related to training or other managerial needs. This includes training manual development and illustration, presentation assembly, multi‑media applications…etc.

Perform digital image processing including the assembly of photographic material intended for Client delivery.

Perform digital pathology system administration, aid Pathologists staff in digital pathology functions.

Support Digital Imaging Services including scheduling, shipping, costing/billing, SOP/Policy development, necessary liaison roles (QA/Study Direction/Client/Pathologist/Management/Security), equipment acquisition, new technique/procedure development, and other duties as deemed necessary.

Maintain client contacts and establish new contacts for specific services.

Review digital imaging projects (including images and related data), ensure compliance with protocol, corporate policy, and regulatory requirements prior to client submission.

Provide administrative support to the pathologists.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in biology, pathology, anatomy, biomedical sciences, histology, medical sciences, animal science, chemistry, microbiology, biochemistry.

1 or more years of experience in photographic principles and techniques, digital imaging technology and systems.

1 or more years of experience in technical writing, data and complex protocol interpretation.

Preferred Qualifications

3 or more months of experience in performing scientific presentations and preparing scientific illustrations for publication.
