Central Loan Processor IV - Consumer Loans We are adding an experienced loan processor to our Consumer Loan Documentation Unit. Consider this position if you have experience with loan processing or wish to advance your career in a different area of lending.

Salary:

$25.42/hour minimum. Pay will be commensurate with job level and experience.

Schedule: Monday‑Friday.

GENERAL PURPOSE SUMMARY Provides technical and administrative support to loan officers in a division or large branch; liaises with customers and processes and closes complex commercial loans with limited supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists loan officers in preparing correspondence and compiling complex loan documentation, including multilevel borrowing entities such as corporations, LLCs, partnerships, and Native organizations.

Acts as liaison between loan officer and borrower to obtain financial, borrower, collateral information and supporting documentation.

Determines whether borrower documentation satisfies established bank procedures by reviewing title, appraisal, environmental, engineer reports, as‑built surveys, and flood certifications, and reports findings to loan officer.

Confirms documentation or relative priority of bank’s security interest; processes Lines of Credit and Construction Loan disbursement requests.

Obtains documentation required by investor or guarantee partners (AIDEA, SBA, AHFC, BIA) by interacting with investors, customers, and loan officers.

Reviews loan files, identifies exceptions to bank policy, and prepares Loan Information Sheet for review and approval by the loan officer.

Reviews loan documents prior to closing with borrower to confirm conformance to authorized terms.

Assists supervisor with review of commercial loan documentation preparation; assists with training loan processors and management associates.

Performs other work‑related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Ensure business unit operations comply with bank policy, procedures, and banking regulations.

Protect confidential information and maintain customer confidence.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES May supervise lending support staff, including interviewing, hiring recommendations, training, planning, assigning, directing work, performance appraisal, and providing complaint resolution.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Education and Experience Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field and one year related experience; or equivalent education/experience. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and two years related experience; or equivalent. One year of customer service, mortgage lending, escrow, title insurance, or loan servicing experience is also preferred.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES

Keyboard 35 wpm, 10‑key calculator.

Windows word processing and spreadsheet skills.

Familiarity with tax returns and financial reports.

Self‑starter requiring only general supervision.

LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and regulations. Write reports, business correspondence, and assist with procedure manuals. Present information and respond to questions.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Basic mathematical concepts, probability, statistics, fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions.

REASONING SKILLS Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions. Interpret technical instructions in diagrammatic form.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS Requires sitting, using hands, reaching, talking, hearing; occasional standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds. Requires visual acuity, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception.

WORKING CONDITIONS Moderate noise level.
