Position Summary The Marketing Project Manager reports directly to the Director of Digital Marketing and Marketing Operations and is the central traffic coordinator for marketing work across the organization. This role owns intake, prioritization, routing, and execution follow-through for design requests and large marketing projects. They build and maintain the operating system for marketing work, including workflows, templates, dashboards, and automations using tools such as Monday.com and HubSpot. This highly visible position delivers strong stakeholder management driven by a sense of urgency and high level organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities Intake, prioritization, and traffic coordination
Own the marketing request intake process, including forms, requirements gathering, and standardization.
Run traffic and status meetings, manage timelines, and escalat[ e] risks when capacity or deadlines are at risk.
Project management and execution
Manage multiple concurrent projects from kickoff through delivery, ensuring milestones and approvals stay on track.
Track dependencies, handoffs, and approvals across teams.
Workflow ownership, tooling, reporting, and automation
Build and administer the marketing project management platform (Monday.com, ClickUp, or similar), including templates, custom fields, dashboards, views, permissions, and governance.
Identify workflow bottlenecks and implement improvements that reduce manual coordination and increase throughput.
Partner with Marketing Operations, IT, and other teams as needed to streamline handoffs between systems (for example, HubSpot to PM tool intake, asset approvals, or status syncing).
Document processes and SOPs and train stakeholders to drive adoption.
Critical Success Factors
Ensure the intake and prioritization process is live and adopted by key stakeholders.
Marketing work is organized in one system with reliable statuses, owners, deadlines, and approvals.
Deliver deadlines on time through proactive dependency tracking, follow-up, and escalation.
Supply leadership with clear visibility into workload, project status, and risks through dashboards and reporting.
Reduction in manual coordination through automation and improved speed and consistency.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a closely related field of study.
5-10 years of experience in marketing project management, creative operations, or marketing traffic management.
PMP and/or Agile or Scrum certification (CSM, PSM, PMI-ACP) is strongly preferred.
Expert proficiency in driving operational processes using marketing project management tools such as Monday.com, ClickUp, Asana, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar, including building workflows, templates, and dashboards.
Experience using marketing systems such as HubSpot and asset management workflows, including DAM and PIM platforms, is preferred.
Demonstrated experience creating workflow automations in marketing project management platforms, including routing, reminders, approvals, and dependency management.
Experience managing large initiatives such as product launches, trade shows, catalogs, website projects, and cross‑functional campaigns is preferred.
The expected salary is $90,000.00 – $100,000.00. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors allowed by law.
