The Partner Communications team supports the Advertising business through high‑impact Partner PR and earned media execution, working closely with global and local stakeholders to elevate credibility, brand leadership, and commercial growth.
Responsibilities
Deliver Partner PR and earned media execution for Expedia Group’s Advertising business, supporting priority launches, campaigns, research stories, and commercial moments. Translate Advertising and Partner Communications strategies into structured PR plans, calendars, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring clarity on objectives, audiences, and messages. Lead the day‑to‑day execution of Advertising PR campaigns and announcements, coordinating closely with Partner PR peers, Partner Content, Events & Experiences, Marketing, and commercial teams. Act as the go‑to operator for Advertising PR projects, managing project plans, approvals, asset development, and stakeholder inputs to keep work on time and in scope. Develop and support press materials, including press releases, media alerts, Q&A, briefing documents, and messaging outlines, working with senior leaders to finalise and execute. Support media relations activity by coordinating outreach lists, drafting pitches, tracking coverage, and helping prepare spokespeople for media opportunities. Monitor advertising, ad‑tech, and competitive trends to identify story opportunities, risks, and relevant industry moments. Support thought leadership and industry presence for Advertising leaders, including speaking opportunities, panels, and media moments tied to priority events. Ensure all work follows Partner Communications operating processes, including tiering, validation, documentation, and measurement. Track PR performance and KPIs, contributing to reporting, learnings, and tactical improvements across messaging, timing, and channels. Qualifications
8+ years proven experience in PR, communications, or media relations, ideally within an advertising agency or B2B, technology, or platform‑driven business. Strong understanding of the advertising landscape. Hands‑on PR execution skills, including campaign delivery, press material development, and media engagement support. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail and follow‑through. Clear, confident communicator with the ability to translate complex topics into concise narratives. Experience working cross‑functionally with senior stakeholders and external partners or agencies. Organised, proactive, and comfortable operating within defined processes and measurement frameworks. Pay range: Seattle $110,500‑$155,000 with potential up to $177,000 based on performance. New York $119,000‑$166,500 with potential up to $190,500. West Hollywood and Austin $110,500‑$155,000 with potential up to $177,000. Compensation may be modified in the future.
