Your Role: The Purchasing Agent assists the Supply Chain department in the everyday purchasing, tracking, receiving and shipping of materials.
Job Duties:
Responsible for placing material and equipment orders.
Responsible for order follow-up and resolving backorders
Responsible for negotiating preferred/discount pricing or contract pricing with vendors
Responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors.
Enters orders into AX Dynamics inventory control system.
Prepares and process the return of merchandise items back to vendors.
Prepares shipments of materials to clients and outside consultants.
Source new and secondary materials.
Prepare and revise internal documentation (RMS’s) for materials
Backs up and assists Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Requires an associate degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
2-3 years of material handling and/or purchasing experience
Experience with ERP / inventory control systems required, Dynamics AX experience preferred.
cGMP experience and writing SOP’s, OOL’s and Deviation reports highly preferred.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This role is a full-time onsite position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. unless otherwise stated by Supervisor.
Compensation: We offer competitive compensation packages for this role, including a base salary, performance-based bonuses, and comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
The compensation range for this role is $20.52 to $27.35 hourly depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer opportunities for career growth and development as well as a supportive and inclusive work environment.
