Overview
Scott Colom for Senate is looking for a Digital Director for the 2026 election cycle. As part of the campaign’s senior staff, this person will manage and execute the online fundraising strategy, working closely with the Campaign Manager, Communications Director, Finance Director, and digital consultants. A successful candidate will have demonstrated success managing large-scale online fundraising programs and has a deep understanding of how different types of content are suited to different social media platforms.
Location: This person will be expected to relocate to Jackson, Mississippi

Responsibilities
Create and implement the digital fundraising strategy across email, ads, texting, website, bundling, and other channels
Manage multiple vendors and build a collaborative environment that sets up the digital fundraising program for success
Build and maintain an accurate digital fundraising budget
Build and maintain accurate digital projections that inform cashflow decisions, working closely with the Finance Director and Campaign Manager
Create and implement the digital communications strategy; draft and post across social platforms like X, Threads, Bluesky, Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, and TikTok that uplift the campaign’s core message
Identify new media opportunities and non-traditional social strategies across platforms like Reddit, LinkedIn, and Youtube
Develop the campaign’s vertical video program across channels like TikTok, Reels, and Shorts
Work closely with the communications team to apply messaging across digital channels
Track metrics on a weekly basis to make data-driven decisions to grow programs
Think innovatively to maximize online fundraising opportunities, especially during rapid response and lead digital partner engagement efforts, including creating online toolkits for supporters
Manage digital approvals, ensuring copy stays on track for timely execution
Manage the campaign’s merch store and brainstorm strategies to increase profitability
Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications
2+ years managing online programs
Experience developing and managing projections is a plus
Strong foundation in ActBlue, CRMs like ActionKit or NGP, and SMS platforms like Tatango and Switchboard
Be highly creative and ready to tell stories in a unique way
Have strong writing skills, with proven ability to write in multiple “voices”
Strong attention to detail with ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
An ability to reprioritize quickly to respond to breaking news and the changing online environment
An understanding of campaign comms strategy and strong political instincts
A commitment to a no-drama attitude
