SALES DIRECTOR, PRICESMART — LATAM DIRECT
SharkNinja France, Miami, FL, United States
Role Overview
We are seeking a Sales Director to lead SharkNinja's PriceSmart commercial relationship at the strategic and senior account level. PriceSmart is a multi‑market warehouse club retailer operating across more than a dozen countries in the LATAM region with a membership model and club economics that demand a fundamentally different commercial approach than conventional retail. This role sits above the day‑to‑day account management layer and is accountable for the strategic architecture of the partnership: senior account leadership, executive relationship management with PSMT's senior stakeholders, P&L ownership at scale, and commercial framework development. The role reports to the VP, LATAM‑Direct Sales and operates as a peer to other LATAM channel leads, with regular visibility to senior Americas commercial leadership.
What You’ll Own
- Strategic ownership of the PriceSmart global partnership — P&L accountability across all active markets and future market expansions
- Executive relationship management at PSMT senior leadership levels — you are the face of SharkNinja at the strategic account level
- Strategic account planning and governance: design, negotiate, and own the annual commercial plan including revenue targets, margin commitments, investment tiers, and milestone accountability
- Performance‑linked trade investment framework: own the design, deployment, and outcome measurement of commercial investment across all PSMT markets
- Manage, develop, and coach the National Account Manager, PriceSmart — set clear KPIs, run weekly performance cadence, and build capability on data‑driven account management
- Member and consumer data strategy: ensure SharkNinja converts account‑level data into assortment and promotional decisions
- Commercial governance: pricing, compliance, invoice terms — you set the guardrails and enforce them consistently across all markets
- Internal commercial leadership: bring the PriceSmart P&L, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership in a structured cadence with actionable recommendations
What We Need
- Hard requirements:
- 10+ years of progressive commercial sales leadership in consumer goods, with at least 3 years managing a major national or international account at director level or above
- Direct experience with club/warehouse retail — PriceSmart, Costco, Sam’s, BJ’s, or equivalent format; understanding of membership‑model economics, club pack architecture, and pallet‑level margin math
- P&L ownership at scale: you have owned a significant revenue relationship, managed trade investment to margin targets, and held yourself accountable to gross profit outcomes — not just topline
- Strategic account planning at scale: you have designed, negotiated, and delivered against multi‑year commercial plans with major retail partners
- Commercial transformation experience: you have changed the pricing or margin structure of a major account relationship — and closed the deal without losing the partner
- LATAM commercial fluency: multi‑market experience in Latin America; understanding of currency, regulatory, logistics, and channel complexity
- Bilingual: English and Spanish preferred
- Strong cross‑functional leadership: you have driven commercial outcomes through supply chain, finance, marketing, and analytics teams without direct line authority
- Data‑fluent: you work from numbers, not instinct alone — POS analysis, margin bridges, forecast variance, ROI on trade investment
Strong Differentiators
- Background in high‑growth CPG environments
- Experience with invoice‑level commercial restructuring with a large‑format retailer
- Demonstrated AI tool integration in commercial strategy — data synthesis, scenario modeling, leadership reporting
- Track record of building and leading high‑accountability sales teams in lean structures
- Familiarity with PSMT's vendor infrastructure and club‑specific sell‑in / sell‑through dynamics
