As the city's longest-active sports franchise, the IceRays provide quality, family-friendly entertainment through 28 home games annually at the 7,500-seat American Bank Center. Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Corpus Christi, TX, for the position of Director of Ticket Sales. The Director will oversee all aspects of ticket sales and operations, including planning strategies, generating new ticket revenue, managing ticket operations, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. Responsibilities include leading and training a ticket sales team, managing client relationships, and collaborating with other departments to meet sales goals. This position requires a proactive approach to sales, customer outreach, and providing exceptional service to fans and partners.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Ticket Sales and Ticket Operations, including knowledge of ticketing software and sales reporting
- Experience in Customer Service and Sales, with a proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Leadership skills for Training and managing a sales team effectively
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail
- Experience working in a sports and entertainment environment is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field preferred
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required during the hockey season
