Salary: 140,000 base + OTE (Uncapped, around $250,000 in year 1)

A tight-knit financial consultancy in Austin are offering the opportunity for a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Director to join the team.

Reporting directly to CRO, you will be responsible for managing the existing team, hiring and developing a high-performing sales team, and supporting the company as they scale.

The sales team target financial institutions, credit unions and community banks, so experience in this industry is a plus.

Key Responsibilities of the Sales Director

  • Oversee and manage the existing sales team, ensuring alignment with company goals and values.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new sales team members to build a top-performing sales unit.
  • Foster a collaborative and accountable team culture.
  • Master the sales tools and platforms, and ensure team members understand and effectively use them.
  • Monitor and enforce the use of these platforms to maintain consistency and efficiency.
  • Set clear sales targets, KPIs, and performance expectations for the team.
  • Regularly review team and individual performance, providing feedback, coaching, and development opportunities.
  • Hold team members accountable for meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.

Key Requirements of the Sales Director

  • Proven track record of leading a team
  • Previous experience selling consulting services
  • Expertise with PE backed firms is a plus
  • Strong understanding of sales platforms and tools, able to quickly learn and implement new systems.
  • Results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed targets.
  • Willing to be onsite to manage the team

They are offering $140,000 on the base for this role, and the company offer an outstanding uncapped commission plan ($250k+ OTE).
