Role Overview

The Finance Director, Private Label serves as the strategic financial business partner to the Private Label Global Leadership Team. This role oversight, capital allocation governance, pricing discipline, and working capital performance. The position plays a critical role in balancing profitable growth ambitions with disciplined financial management across regions.

Your Role in Unpacking Possibilities

  • Own end‑to‑end financial leadership of the Private Label business.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to Commercial and Portfolio leadership, shaping growth strategies, evaluating investment cases, and ensuring disciplined decision‑making aligned to organizational objectives.
  • Lead capital allocation discipline, including CapEx evaluation, ROI modeling, and scenario planning.
  • Ensure pricing governance frameworks to protect and expand margins across regions and customer segments.
  • Drive working capital excellence, optimizing accounts receivable, inventory performance, and cash flow generation.
  • Oversee forecasting, financial planning, and performance management processes, ensuring transparency, predictability, and rigorous variance analysis.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, and R&D to optimize cost competitiveness, productivity, and asset utilization.
  • Build a high‑performing finance organization that enables data‑driven decision‑making and strengthens financial controls and governance.

What We Want From You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10–15+ years of financial leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Demonstrated executive accountability for similar roles within complex, multi‑site and geographically dispersed operations.
  • Demonstrated financial acumen with deep expertise in capital strategy and investment governance.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders in matrix organizations.

Relationships

This role operates as the strategic financial architect of the Private Label business, ensuring disciplined capital allocation, margin protection, and long‑term value creation through integrated Commercial–Portfolio–Finance governance.

Salaried Statement

The starting salary for this position is expected to be between $130,000 to $188,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Position may also be eligible for Amcor’s Management Incentive Plan / Sales Incentive Plan, which is an annual bonus program based on business and individual performance, as well as medical coverage and other health and welfare benefits.

The salary range provided reflects the anticipated base pay for this role at the time of this posting. This range is applicable to positions performed in jurisdictions with pay transparency requirements, including CA, CO, CT, HI, IL, MD, MA, MN, NV, NJ, NY, RI, VT, WA, Washington DC, as well as remote roles that may be performed in these locations. Compensation for roles performed outside these jurisdictions may vary. The Company reserves the right to modify this range at any time.
