Field Marketing Manager
Chalk, San Francisco, CA, United States
Chalk is building the data platform that powers the future of machine learning applications. We tear down complexity, latency, and scale barriers that have traditionally constrained ML capabilities. Our platform combines Rust-speed performance with elegant tools that developers love to use. Leading companies depend on Chalk for everything from stopping fraudulent credit card swipes, identity verification, and maximizing clean energy capture.
About The Role
As Chalk's Field Marketing Manager , you'll bring our data platform to life for technical audiences. Reporting to our VP Marketing, you'll establish Chalk's presence at key industry conferences while creating our own signature events that bring the ML community together. Beyond budgeting and logistics, you'll build genuine connections in the developer ecosystem that convert to pipeline. If you know the difference between an empty marketing event and one that actually moves technical audiences, we’d love to talk.
What You’ll Do
Craft and execute Chalk's event strategy, from identifying the right conferences to creating a standout presence.
Design and host Chalk-branded meetups, talks, and workshops that showcase our product and build community.
Own the complete event lifecycle — from allocating budget and multi-channel promotion to on-site logistics and post-event follow-up.
Partner with Developer Advocacy to align event strategy with community-building and business objectives.
Collaborate with the Sales team during field programs to accelerate deals in pipeline while generating qualified net-new opportunities.
Build strategic relationships with event organizers and developer communities.
Experiment with creative formats that break through the noise at crowded events.
