Position Summary
The Athletics Marketing Coordinator will support the marketing office in efforts to enhance the fan experience in effective and creative ways while generating revenue and advancing the Carolina Athletics brand. The coordinator will be primarily responsible for the development and execution of marketing plans for a combination of sport programs, aimed at increasing attendance and generating revenue via ticket, concessions, and merchandise sales at home contests. This position will work with Go Heels Productions, Tar Heel Sports Properties, event management, facilities, spirit groups, coaches, and sport administrators to coordinate an optimal in-venue fan experience for Tar Heel fans.
Minimum Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in collegiate sports marketing.
