
Marketing Representative

Responsibilities
Manage sales and profit results of territory in support of Company objectives
Effectively execute marketing strategy in territory
Identify and solicit opportunities to enhance Company brand in assigned territory
Proactively execute agency management strategy
Effectively develop and manage agency plant in territory
Manage competitive analysis process in territory
Prospect and assign new business partners
Meet or exceed territory business plans
Develop and maintain effective business relationships with appropriate agency personnel
Effectively communicate market intelligence and overall territory feedback to Director of Marketing
Assist in the development of agency action plans, communicate plan to agency, work closely with assigned agents to encourage appropriate business
Provide agencies with training of company products and Union Express
Effectively represent and deliver Company strategies and initiatives
Requirements
Requires frequent travel within assigned territory.
Valid driver’s license
Must be able to self-motivate
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to manage time, analyze data, make decisions, solve problems, and negotiate
Strong knowledge of insurance business including understand risk identification and assessment, property insurance coverage, forms, financial statements and computer applications/systems.
Desired Qualifications And Skills
Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, or business administration preferred
Five years of related experience
Certified Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) encouraged
Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation preferred but not required
