Position Summary:

The National Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and executing sales strategies that drive revenue growth through national grocery distributors and retail partners. This role requires a strong understanding of distributor go-to-market strategies and the ability to translate them into successful retail programs. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience with key distribution partners such as KEHE, UNFI, AWG, and McKesson , and have a proven track record of expanding product presence within grocery and wellness channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement national sales strategies to drive growth across key distributor and retail accounts.
  • Manage relationships with major grocery distributors and retailers, including KEHE, UNFI, AWG, and McKesson.
  • Manage and motivate broker partners to effectively execute sales plans and deliver against performance targets.
  • Understand and execute go-to-market strategies from distributor to retailer, ensuring seamless product flow and brand visibility.
  • Lead account planning, promotional calendars, and retail execution to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and product teams to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Drive performance metrics, forecasting accuracy, and budget management.
  • Represent GuruNanda at trade shows, distributor meetings, and key customer presentations.

Qualifications:

  • 5–10 years of retail account management experience with grocery distributors and retailers.
  • Proven success managing national and international retail partners or distributors.
  • Strong cross-functional experience collaborating with operations, finance, and product teams.
  • Deep understanding of the retail calendar — resets, line reviews, and promotional planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow account revenue and improve margin dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
