Job Description

The Director's key responsibilities include building strong relationships with, and strategically managing, multiple national accounts. The Director will be actively involved in decisions for existing and future business developments. This position will be responsible for its territory and its results to accelerate growth and profitability for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business and increased profitability at the account by driving organic growth
  • Align key Amcor resource personnel with customer counterparts to develop deep customer relationships
  • Develop plan to execute strategy to exceed sales goals over the next 5 years and beyond, while maintaining vital links to each respective Amcor Division
  • Ensure that Amcor's total offerings, products and services, are represented in a unified manner to deliver the One Amcor approach
  • Successfully identify solutions Amcor can provide to enable broad account relationships at the mid to high levels while spreading throughout the functional areas of each organization
  • Build a customer profile while identifying the target areas for Amcor based on synergies and strategies of both organizations
  • Ability to drive business on a global basis where applicable, travel as needed
  • Managing proper communication to leadership
  • Ownership of the P&L results of each account

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Equivalent with 5-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area
  • 3-5 years of National Account experience
  • 5-10 years of experience in Packaging field preferred
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to work cross-functionally to drive business solutions
  • Solid relationship building focus
  • Proficient computer and organizational skills
  • Ability to learn new products and technologies
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Strong negotiation and business skill sets
  • Self-starter that is results oriented

Compensation

The starting salary for this position is expected to be between $0 to $0; however, base pay offered may vary within the full salary range $0 to $0 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on national averages and a geographic differential may be applied based on work location. Position may also be eligible for Amcor's Management Incentive Plan / Sales Incentive Plan, which is an annual bonus program based on business and individual performance, as well as medical coverage and other health and welfare benefits.
