Human Resources Specialist (Compensation/Recruitment)

Job Title
The role involves providing advice and guidance to managers and supervisors on human resources and workforce planning, surveys, and results. Developing and conducting proactive recruiting strategies to attract high quality civilian candidates for healthcare, administrative, and technical positions throughout the servicing area. Conducting targeted outreach to specialized talent pools, including healthcare professionals, veterans, students, and hard to fill skill areas. Coordinating and managing compensation practices within the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) and ensuring they align with regulations. Advising supervisors, managers, and command leadership on pay setting, pay adjustments, special salary rates, incentives, premium pay, and compensation flexibility. Providing guidance on locality pay, special pay authorities, recruitment/retention incentives, and physician/dentist pay structures when applicable.
