Senior Product Owner
Senior Product Owner is a strategic professional who will help support the Loan IQ Program with its enablement & conversion of multiple, global portfolios between platforms. The individual has a deep understanding of Lending Operations and the Loan IQ platform to help facilitate conversations and drive deliverables with key stakeholders across Core Operations, Platform Transformation, Finance and Technology.
Excellent communication skills required to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for day to day management of executing to milestones and budget on multiple complex projects.
- Identify stakeholders and key organizations to build and manage relationships.
- Direct the creation of multiple work projects and manage their alignment to business goals.
- Lead facilitation, coordination, and arbitration of cross-functional macro level topics within/across projects and with Senior Management.
- Lead identification and drive resolution of issues, including those outside established projects of work.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure project scope definition meets business objectives.
- Work with Project Sponsor to ensure business case/cost benefit analysis aligns with business objectives.
- Drive adherence to project processes, procedures, methods, and standards for project delivery and leverage across the project.
- Assist project team in negotiating for resources owned by other departments to ensure project completion.
- Direct the communication of status, issue, and risk disposition to all stakeholders, including senior management.
- Identify risks impacting project delivery and ensure mitigation strategies are developed and executed.
- Escalate program risks to Program Director or Program Sponsor when appropriate.
- Apply advanced understanding of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues beyond own area.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for firm’s reputation, safeguarding Citi, its clients and assets, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy and applying sound ethical judgment.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years Operations lending experience.
- 5-10 years Loan IQ experience; analysis & data mapping skills required.
- 10+ years relevant experience.
- Clear understanding of the firm’s different businesses and related economics.
- Subject matter expert in multiple or specific skill sets, business areas, or products.
- Bachelor’s/University degree; Master’s degree preferred.
