About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Growth, Strategy, and Donor Relations to play a pivotal role in the organization's mission. The successful candidate will be the chief architect of the donor experience, with a focus on strategic philanthropy and campaign management. This includes driving the enterprise-wide engagement strategy, orchestrating the strategic roadmap for a significant capital campaign, and governing a portfolio of principal relationships. The role demands a sophisticated leader with a proven track record in nonprofit development, capable of deepening multi-dimensional relationships with institutional, corporate, and ultra-high-net-worth partners. The Vice President will also be responsible for creating high-touch stewardship models, overseeing the production of impactful narratives, and ensuring that all strategic initiatives are centered in equity, justice, and systemic change.
Applicants must have 12-15 years' of experience in nonprofit development and senior leadership, with a strong background in securing sponsorships and investments at the $5 million+ scale. Mastery of storytelling and communication is essential, as is the ability to operate as an enterprise leader and build consensus across departments. The role requires exceptional operational and project governance skills, and the candidate should be committed to the mission of the organization. Team management, organizational integration, and a strategic approach to engagement are also key aspects of the position. The Vice President will work closely with the Chief Development Officer and supervise a growing team, while collaborating with institutional partnerships and communications teams to ensure a consistent and inspired donor experience.
