The Role

Our creative team at Female Founded, produce performance ads for beauty, skincare and wellness brands. We are looking for a freelance partners who edits to convert — not just to look good.

You’ll own creative execution for paid social: cutting ads, building variations, and iterating on winners. You will work directly with a creative strategist, analyzing what’s performing and shipping fast. You’re not just executing briefs — you’re shaping them.


Responsibilities

•     Edit short-form DR ads for Meta, TikTok Shoppable, and YouTube Shorts — tight pacing, strong sound design, platform-native feel.

•     Build hook, intro, and CTA variations for systematic creative testing.

•     Turn UGC, founder footage, and testimonials into high-converting assets.

•     Analyze performance data with the creative team and scale what’s winning.

•     Flag patterns proactively — what’s working, what’s dying, what to try next.


Requirements

•     5+ years of video editing experience, with at least 3 years in direct response or performance advertising.

•     Real experience in beauty, skincare, or wellness — strongly preferred.

•     Expert-level Premiere Pro, After Effects, and CapCut.

•     Fluency in paid social metrics, A/B testing, and what makes a hook actually work.

•     Fast turnarounds, clean files, and minimal back-and-forth.

•     Comfortable working async with a remote team — you don’t need hand-holding.


Compensation

$75 per hour. Need editors with a proven DR track record and beauty/wellness niche experience.
